The 2016 theme for the ICOMOS International Day on Monuments and Sites celebrated on 18 April is:The Heritage of Sport.

ICOMOS Italy – in partnership with The Special Superintendency for the Archaeological Heritage of Naples and Pompeii (SANP) –  is glad to announce the special ICOMOS Italy Event “Life and Sport in Pompei” – Cultural walk among the sites that have characterized the style-life of Romans in Pompeii, through the discovering of the sport sites and buildings in the ancient city.
