On April 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., the results of the monitoring of the ancient city of Pompei will be presented at the Ministero della Cultura (Sala Spadolini).
The meeting will focus on the activities carried out to monitor and maintain the archaeological site, highlighting the tools used and the outcomes achieved during the project. Monitoring plays a key role in planning targeted interventions and ensuring the preservation of the site.
The event will be attended by the Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli. Speakers will include the project’s coordinators, the Director of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii Gabriel Zuchtriegel, and representatives from academia.
The presentation is part of ongoing management and conservation efforts, aimed at providing an update on the state of preservation and the operational strategies in place.
